The Armenian Marketing Association and the Kotler Impact company organized a round table on the topic «Topical issues of marketing in Armenia» on September 6, in which participated the President of the «Kotler Impact» company Faim Kibriya and a number of leading Armenian marketing specialists .
Mr. Kibriya said that he did not see marketing here, since marketing is not what is shown on television. Marketing is a long-term program, the training of which depends on ourselves. According to F. Kibriya, «the meaning of marketing is to meet the needs and desires of consumers.»
Mr. Kibriya also noted that Philip Kotler’s book on marketing will be translated into Armenian by next year and will be available for sale.
At the meeting, Faim Kibriya presented the features and trends of modern marketing in the international market. The round table participants also discussed the issues and specifics of the introduction of modern marketing technologies and communications in Armenia.
